Practical and pretty

These orphan blocks were constructed LONG ago
with some very thin fabric.

I knew it wouldn't be the best to include them in a quilt...
but I did want to get them out of hiding!!!

So I made some table mats for the senior lunch I serve twice a month.

I know my friends there will enjoy these homemade centerpieces.

And I WILL too!!!

  1. Great Job! I have a few orphans (sic) lying around the sewing room! LOL. I will work on some when I get back from the retreat this weekend!

    Aren't you jealous?

glen: in the country, no phones, no dogs, no cats in my lap, no husband, no cooking, no cleaning! LOL

  6. These are great! I can't stand not using something, especially if it's already partly finished, so this challenge is a good one for me. Now, if only I wasn't so far behind, I could get started!
